Here are some things that are currently on the needles:
Working with Lion Brand Homespun is difficult, but not impossible. A friend requested this specific yarn for her headband earwarmers, and it's a gorgeous color too.
I'm in a bulky yarn spree, since I know it will be a quick knit as well as a great stashbuster.
I think that this is a gorgeous red color for this newsboy cap.
Hop over to Tami's Amis blog to see what other craftsters are up to this Wednesday.

Working with Homespun can definitely be a challenge---I made some teeny tiny crocheted owls in it last year, and even though they were about two inches, I was so happy to finish them. And I think that red is a gorgeous colour for a hat, too. I might need a red hat...
I've not worked with Homespun. But then I usually working sock yarn for most things.
I like the blue of the headband.
I never, ever use chunky yarn. And I love the way it looks. Hmm... Must investigate. Also, thanks for the link to that newsboy hat -- it's just been plopped into my queue -- super cute!
I'm jealous of your snow day! We had 1 inch on the ground on New Year's, but it was the only snow we've had in a few years. I do think that Homespun looks nice knit up! That cap is going to be great too. I agree that the red is gorgeous. : )
Both patterns that you are working on are so cute. My niece is always asking me to knit her a warm ear cover and the headband pattern is perfectly adorable. Thanks for the link! Can't wait to see both of your projects knitted up!
I don't usually buy chunky yarn, so recently when I decided to do a yarn diet, I made sure to buy some chunky to have it in my stash. I can't wait to use it, because I haven't used chunky much. Love both your projects!
Eeeeee! So excited, the colors are amazing!!!
